Based on its exceptional heritage, Breguet has release in 2007 a highly refined, white-gold version of the Marine 5827 Chronograph model. The lot here offered is one of the nicest examples ever presented at auctions for its quality conditions and set. The three-body case in white gold has screwed-down winding crown, transparent case back, curved and inclined bezel, coin- edge band and straight lapidated lugs, all preserved in almost untouched conditions. Trademark of Breguet, the dial reflects the ability and history of the Swiss brand, with a two-tone hand-turned guilloché decoration, applied blued steel radial Roman numerals on a brushed reserve, subsidiary dials for the seconds and the 12-hour register, outer 60-minute divisions, aperture for the date at 6. The luminous blued steel Breguet hour and minute hands are powered by the automatic 583Q/1 caliber. This very watch is offered with box, tag and original papers.
